Learn to Lead

My learn to lead course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge needed to help you become an independent lead climber, all in the beautiful coastal settings of Gower or in the Brecon Beacons.

The course duration and content will vary depending on your experience and aspirations, but it is usual for a two day 'Trad' course to cover the following:

• Selecting a route

• Placing Protection

• Building belays

• Managing ropes

• Avoiding problems

My aim is to give you a safe, friendly and fun learning environment in which you can develop at your own pace.
